Video over IP technology has recently taken another leap forwards with larger HDMI data rates now able to be distributed over 1GbE, at prices that are now much more affordable for the wider residential channel. We will take a look into how this step forwards provides greater flexibility, more competitive price points, and a wider choice of technology that can be used.
