This is an in-person training course, held at CEDIA EMEA, St Neots.

The CEDIA Outreach Instructor (COI) course prepares you to present continuing education courses to designers, builders, and architects in your local area. This is only available to CEDIA members who hold a company membership.

This program creates new business opportunities, allowing you to deliver technology education with the ability to provide CEU/CPD credits for several national and international design and build industry associations.

Course content includes an introduction to the program, a review of the available courseware, and a discussion of the rules and requirements for presenting under CEDIA’s education provider umbrella. Additionally, participants will learn proper presentation techniques, best practices for class preparation, and useful communication and questioning techniques. Other topics discussed will include an examination of learning styles, proper inclusion of teaching aids, and how to best implement this program into your company’s strategic plan.

Participants are expected to discuss their pitch during class as part of a peer evaluation. This eight-hour course is offered pass/fail.

This training requires completion of the pre-requisite coursework before attending the in-person training.

Due to the region-specific course information, this COI course is limited to EMEA CEDIA members only.
