This pathway is intended for technicians wishing to progress to the next level to develop skills for project management, project documentation and the knowledge to add sub systems, such as security, access control, and more to the CEDIA installers capabilities and skills.
During the 3-day course students will learn the fundamentals of project management focused on the CI Industry. How to successfully deliver a project to a happy customer. They will gain valuable insight into the whole package of documents that are required to deliver a successful project both from others and internally created project documents.
The final day focuses on sub-systems integration, the ability to add more technical systems to the whole project to give the customer a seamless solution in the ELV services environment.
During the individual courses CEDIA’s certified subject matter experts will share a vast amount of technical knowledge and will be on hand to support students through their learning. Across the three days, attendees will take part in numerous hands-on activities, designed to deliver a good feel for the on-the-job tasks typically undertaken by senior technicians.
