David Meyer has been in the industry for over 25 years, having started out in photographics and imaging, moving into home cinema retail and custom installation, then product design, manufacturing, and distribution as founder of the Kordz Group.

In his role with CEDIA, David's focus is on updating and developing CEDIA's technical curriculum, provide his insight as an in-house subject matter expert, and serving as an instructor for face-to-face events in the Asia-Pacific region. David was previously a CEDIA volunteer for over 10 years, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in connectivity (namely HDMI) and video, and has authored and presented numerous courses over his tenure.

David is ISF and HAA (level 1) certified, he is also a HDBaseT Expert Installer. Additionally, David is a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE).
